Julie McGregor has an extensive background in theatre, television & music - from the original Australian production of The Rocky Horror Show, through to Overpaid Oversexed & Over Here,and Gentlemen Only for Playbox Theatre Melbourne; Party Wall at Nimrod and The Sentimental Bloke for the Melbourne Theatre Company.

Other theatre credits include Kennedy's Children (MTC), the title role in Miss Julie (Playbox) and Potiphar's Wife, Backyard and As You Like It (Nimrod Theatre Sydney).

Julie is best known for her role as the daffy secretary "Betty" in the long running TV series, Hey, Dad. Other TV shows include A Country Practice, Sons & Daughters, The Naked Vicar Show and most recently Echo Point.

Film credits include Backroads and Palm Beach. Julie recently directed a short film , The Exchange, for Tropfest, and has just completed the Australian tour of Run For Your Wife for Twelfth Night Theatre Company Queensland.
