On Tuesday 15th August Gary Foley officially opened the sensational new, urban dingo: the art and life of Lin Onus 1948 - 1996, Exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) in Sydney. The retrospective exhibition is running from 11th August - 29th October and is an official event in the Sydney 2000 Olympic Art Festival.

As such it is the most daring and cheeky form of infiltration and subversion that indigenous activists could have possibly managed in their attempts to use the games as a vehicle for focussing world attention of the racial situation in Australia.

You would be mad to miss this brilliant exhibition. After Sydney, urban dingo will travel to Brisbane and then Melbourne.
