Great Moments in Indigenous History

APG Leader Shirtfronted by English Aristocracy.

Aboriginal Provisional Government (APG) leader Michael Mansell finds himself confronted by a leading member of the English ruling class as he attends a London party to solicit support for his group. The funny little lady in the tiara was most offended when Mansell tried to sell her a "White Australia has a Black History" T-shirt.

She tried to offer him a trinket instead (something that looked awfully like an MBE or an ABO) if only he would cease advocating such subversive nonsense. Mansell admirably declined to the offer of the MBE or the hand of Princess Anne, which was also on the table! Her Majesty left shortly afterwards to feed the corgis and Phil.
