First ATSIC Chairperson ever elected by his peers, Mr Geoff Clark, recently took
the opportunity to remind the Australian Labor Party of its long history of racism by presenting new Aboriginal Affairs shadow minister Bob McMullan with a toilet brush.
This came after it had been reported that an un-named senior ALP official had likened the shadow Aboriginal Affairs portfolio to "cleaning the toilets on the Titanic"!
